Chalet Bluebell
Chalet Bluebell Is just a short and flat 6/8 minute walk from the centre of Les Gets, the ski lifts and the pistes. Included in the price is a complimentary shuttle lift to the slopes each morning and return at the end of the day to suit each guest. Many do actually enjoy the walk as it’s not far at all.
Chalet owners Jane and Robert have been in Les Gets for over 30 years and know how to give guests their best ever skiing holiday. Nothing is too much trouble. The hospitality is very welcoming, homely and warming. All staff are specifically chosen for their professionalism and they are trained to really look after people well, in Jane and Rob’s relaxed and welcoming Chalet.
The food
The trip includes breakfast and evening meal with wine.
The food is always fabulous and ample, freshly prepared by the resident chef. It is always of an excellent restaurant/bistro standard, for which they receive consistently high praise, year after year.
The evening dinner menu is displayed each morning at breakfast, so should you not like the main menu or have specific dietary requirements the chef can make you something else. They also have an in-house bar stocking all popular spirits or you are welcome to bring your own.
Lunch
Lunchtime is a great opportunity for some additional discussion within the group, counting towards the overall CPD time. We plan to stop at one of the fantastic restaurants on the mountain in Les Gets, Morzine or Avoriaz.
The cost of lunch is not included in the trip, so please allow for this in your spending budget. If you prefer, Chalet Bluebell’s chef can supply a prepared lunch on demand, also at an additional cost.
The Rooms
The chalet has eight comfortably furnished, en-suite, bedrooms and an endless supply of hot water!
Ground Floor
Room 1 has 2 bunks, a double bed and a bathroom
Room 2 has 2 beds, a shower room/toilet
Room 3 has 2 beds and a shower room/toilet
Second Floor
Room 4 has 2 bunks, a double bed and a shower room/toilet PLUS a balcony! FULLY BOOKED
Room 5 has 2 beds and a shower room/toilet
Room 6 has 2 beds and a shower room/toilet
Room 7 has 2 beds and a shower room/toilet
Third Floor
Room 8 has a double bed, 2 bunks and a single bed + a mini kitchen and a sink in the room. It shares the shower and toilet with the chalet girls but they will be working when you need to use it.
Other Facilities
There is also a lovely large lounge, with a wonderful log fire and comfy sofas and it's the perfect area to relax after a hard day on the slopes. Many a story or experience has been recounted in here, whilst sipping pre-dinner drinks and nibbling on canapés. A lot of long-lasting friendships have begun over drinks and during dinner. There’s a TV with Google Chrome so you can also access Netflix, Iplayer and UK TV.
To help ease those aches and pains, we also have an outdoor 6-seater hot tub with massaging jets! So don’t forget to pack your swimsuit! We can pre-book massages at the chalet for you too.
